That's right, all your favorites, like not being able to upload submissions timely, making poor judgements on top ten lists, not putting up new polls and generally not posting anything.
Hopefully with everything calming down, we can get down to the home stretch here and perhaps somebody can track down Perry for the title.
However, that task will become more difficult soon, as he has a large amount of photos which he is going to pull his official submissions out of now that I'm actually posting something about them.
I did however pull this doozy out in honor of the start of the State Fair, here is a photo of Perry on a giant slide, with child and sticker book... let's vote on it, then see who all can match it at state fair this week!
Now for those of you that following the all-star top ten photo countdown, there is a bit of controversy over a photo being omitted from the list and to be honest there might be some merit to the complaints. So because of this special situation I am going to run another poll regarding this classic.

Should this photo have been the #1 photo of the first half? The people shall have a chance to vote.
Good stickering.
As if a picture isn't worth a thousand words, let me give a few dozen words as a reminder of why a "yes" vote should be considered:
ReplyDeleteIt's the combination of a "fifty yard line Camp Randall" achivement, plus a "running an 8K" ad-hoc achievement plus a "Ghost of Crazylegs Hirsch himself in the photo" ad-hoc achievement plus a "grainy zapruder film" artistic splash.
Certainly a top-10er....will you vote it to the top?
I'm voting no mostly because I hate John Madden, and seeing his ugly mug in the forefront turns me off big time.
ReplyDeleteI was going to vote yes and Perry does make some great points... but Russ's John Madden comment sealed it for me. It's possible that the photo of the year wasn't even an allstar. I wonder how many times in the history of baseball the mvp of the league wasn't an allstar.
