That's three different Steve Carlton stickers quite possibly ripped from the same pitch. If it's not a single pitch then at the very least this photographer didn't bother moving out of the same camera well for an entire ball game. You kidding me Topps? You've officially changed the definition of The Carlton from "a sitcom inspired dance sequence" to "laziness in it's purest form."
Once again the Sticker Challenge makes my day.

ReplyDeleteJoe - you should be ecstatic that those stickers don't represent a double, a double-double or even a triple-double of the carlton after your first sticker delivery....unless you did already get one in your introductory 5 pack. In which case you only have a single regular double - hardly a problem considering what trouble you thought you were in until you saw the numbers.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous is right...someone jacked the order...or maybe that unorthodox delivery is what made him so good. We're all too young to remember otherwise.

ReplyDeleteyep. 2 and 1 should be flipped. the leg is more erect in 2, while in 1 he's starting to reach back for his drive forward.
