After further discussions at Todd tonight and with the news that more stickerbooks are on the way, no one is allowed to score stickers until 1/1/2010.
For those who don't have packets, books and other items needed for the challenge, I will post PDF's of the rules sheets, Max will post the welcome video and you should, God willing have your packets by Wednesday of next week.

New Sticker Purchasing Rule
We are going to limit the cash spent on stickers to $15 per year along with making the rule that you must earn atleast as many stickers as you buy.
Ebay almost always has some deals, some better then others and it's certainly a great way to get some more stickers and add more to the pool but we don't want to ruin the whole idea of the competition.
Barbs found a great deal on getting a good set of stickers before these rules were instated but is willing to obviously not just win the competition day one on an ebay purchase.
Looking forward to seeing some photos coming in.

Initial Sticker Rules and Regulations
The Great American Sticker Challenge Rules and Regulations
Participants may only use stickers distributed to them by the Great Sticker Challenge Administration Office, unless the sticker is acquired under the following stipulations:
A sticker received from the office is traded with another participant in the challenge.
A participant purchases a sticker from the internet or third party (see purchasing a sticker rule)
Purchasing a sticker or multiple stickers from a third party is allowed but purchasing a double from another participant is not. The following stipulations apply with regards to purchasing stickers:
A single player is not allowed to spend more than $25 on stickers through the course of the year, not including the shipping cost of the stickers.
For every one sticker purchased, one sticker must be donated to the Administration Office. For instance, if someone purchases a lot of 20 stickers, 10 of those stickers must be donated to the Administration Office pool of stickers.
When stickers are purchased they all must be registered with the Administration Office to keep track of the official standings and to regulate the purchasing process.
To earn stickers participants must be digitally photographed completing one of the listed tasks found on the Achievements List. That photo then must be emailed to the Administration Office to be posted on the blog for other players to view. Duplicate achievements are to be handled with the following rulings:
A player may not earn stickers using the same achievement back to back, nor may a participant use the same achievement more then once in a month.
A player may not earn stickers using the last known achievement. Players must wait until another achievement is accomplished before submitting again. For instance, if Player A submits a picture of himself and his sticker book posing with a mannequin, Player B cannot submit that achievement until something else is submitted.
A player can only keep up to three doubles in hand at anytime. Any doubles can be traded with another participant or they may be traded back to the Administration Office on a three to one ratio. The only time a player may have more than three doubles in hand is if an achievement is earned that produces that scenario. The player then has one week to attempt to trade any extra doubles or he must send them back to the Administration Office for the three to one ratio exchange.
